Individual development for your business apps - with our
SDK for iOS
By default, contentDock® offers a large of different content elements with which you can design your apps.
If these elements are not sufficient for the desired functions of your app, IT experts can develop additional functions and integrate them into your apps with our contentDock® SDK.
Depending on the SDK mode, you can decide whether your app should be started as a single contentApp, or whether you want to place an app in which all your contentApps are listed as InApps.
The SDK for Android is in preparation and is expected to be available on Github in summer 2020.
Placing an App in the Apple App Store
With the contentDock® SDK for iOS, IT experts can also prepare their contentApp for distribution in the Apple App Store or with the Apple Enterprise Account. Please note that an own logo and app name are required for the placement.
Incidentally, according to Apple guidelines, in-house apps, so-called employee apps, cannot be placed in the App Store. To distribute these apps, you need a paid Apple Enterprise Account.
Integrate existing data from external data sources and manage them with our API
The contentDock® API is used when it comes to using data from other IT systems of the company for the content of the contentApps as well. Via the API, this data can be managed and updated in the contentDock® App Management System in corresponding data containers.
The setup of the data containers requires knowledge in handling real database tables, so that corresponding know-how is necessary.
